brown soundをShin"s Musicさんが製作されていると知り購入しました。

ペダルの音はギターやアンプによってガラッとキャラクターが変わることがありますが当方の環境ではデイブ期後期のサウンドに近い印象でした。

ゲインは意外と控えめですが、よくよく聴き比べてみると特徴はしっかり再現されているように感じました。歪ませて誤魔化すタイプではなく、玄人向けです。

MXR 5150 ODはローカットされますが、brown driveは紹介動画で聴いてイメージしていたよりも遥かにローが出るため立体感や迫力があります。もちろんローを絞ることでタイトなローも可能です。

ゲインを絞り切るとクリーンになるためフルレンジブースタートとして、また３EQでトレブルやミッドブーストなど使い勝手の良いブースターとして使えます。EQの効きはアンプの様に控えめです。

3EQの設定しだいではYouTubeとの比較になりますがDumbloidのようなサウンドも再現できるように感じました。実機はまた違うのかも知れませんがメーカーに共通する音はあると思います。

クリーンクランチも良く、ブルースやファンクにも合うと思います。

９月に購入したばかりですがイメージしていたジャズ系のサウンドではなかったため出品致します。
